Is the Nikon D200 still good in 2020??
Yes! The Nikon D200 still holds up REALLY well in 2020. I think it's an under rated camera for it’s age. If you’re on a budget and fall upon a D200 for a really good deal, pick it up! The D200’s quality is still really good for what it is!
Quick specs on the D200:
+ 10.2 Megapixel CCD Sensor (crop sensor)
+ 11 AF points (can be switched to 7 AF points)
+ ISO 100 to 1600 (boost to 3200)
+ 1/8000 max shutter speed
+ NO VIDEO RECORDING. The D200 does not do video recording.
Did you have the Nikon D200? Comment and let me know what you thought about it! For it’s age, it’s still a really amazing camera.

Nikon D200 Portrait Photography
Is the Nikon D200 still good for portraits? HECK YES, it is! This 15 year old camera is still a tank. The 1/8000 shutter speed is great for super bright days. With the help of the Godox Ad200 external flash, it really shows just how that the age of the camera doesn't really matter...that much. In this video, I used the Nikon 35mm 1.8G DX, Tamron 45mm F/1.8, Nikon 50mm 1.8G and the Nikon 85mm 1.8G on the D300s for portraits. Do you have a Nikon D200 but not sure what lens to get? I hope this video helps! Comment below and I'll try my best to help and answer questions about the Nikon D200!
